Library Cards
A patron must be at least 8 years of age to obtain a library card. Parental approval is required.
Library circulation
- Library material circulates for 1 month
- Renewals are permitted as long as there are no holds on the title by other patrons.
- Lost material will require a replacement fee or physical replacement of the title.

We don't have what you are looking for?
If you can provide title and author, we can search other libraries in Wrst Virginia for the titles you seek. A fee of $4.00 is requested to help cover postage.
Library Collections
- Elementary - Fiction and Nonfiction sections.
- Juvenile - Fiction, Nonfiction and Biography sections.
- Adult Fiction - General, Large Print, Inspirational, Mystery, Western, Young Adult and SciFi sections.
- Adult Nonfiction - General and Biography sections.
- Audio Books - Audiobook titles on CD.
- DVDs - Documentaries and feature films on DVD.
Genealogy
The Library contains limited research materials on family history, marriage records, local and state history, census information, grave registers, and more.
Assistance with genealogy research may be available when staff are available; however we are unable to offer remote genealogical research.
Community Space
The downstairs of the Library is available to the public for rental.
Rent is $15.00 per hour, and is charged only for the event time itself. Time before and after the event for prep and cleanup is not charged.
Availability is limited to dates/times when the space is not being used by the Library. Library programming takes precedence.
Presentation technology is now available for public use, but must be pre-authorized by Library staff.
A contract must be signed prior to any reservation. A room key will be made available for any reservations taking place in our off hours.
